Acetyl-Arg9 - Cell Penetrating Peptides - CPP

Acetyl-(Arg)9, derived from (Arg)9 is a cationic cell-penetrating peptide consisting of 9 arginines. Arginine rich CPPs enter cells in a passive manner through membrane multilamellarity and fusion. Evidently as a CPP, (Arg)9 can function to deliver specific molecules to target cells and can be used for drug delivery purposes.
